Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Toor Dal
  • 1/2 cup of boiled Rice (or Cream of Rice)
  • 1/2 cup of raw Rice
  • Small ball of Tamarind
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 10 Red Chillies
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • Pinch of Asafoetida powder
  • 1/4 cup of shredded Coconut
  • Salt
  • How to Make Spicy Dosa:

    1. Soak dal and rice together in water for an hour.
    2. Grind all the ingredients in mixie or grinder and make dosa paste.
    3. Heat the pan, pour half spoon of oil and spread the dosa paste and allow it to turn golden brown.
    4. Serve hot with mint or onion chutney.
