Ingredients

  • 2 cup - rice
  • 4 - hard boiled eggs
  • 1 - onion, chopped finely
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1 inch piece - ginger
  • 3 - garlic flakes
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 1 - big cardamom
  • 3 - cloves
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3.5 cup - water
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Spicy Egg Biryani

  • Make a paste of ginger and garlic.
  • Wash the rice and soak for 30 mins
  • Shell and halve the eggs, lengthwise
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till golden brown
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and simmer for 3 mins
  • Add chopped chillies and simmer for a minute
  • Add bay leaves, cloves and cardamoms along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala
  • Now add the halved eggs
  • Add rice, salt and water
  • Cook till rice is cooked
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot
