Ingredients

  • 1 kg - mutton or beef cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 4 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 cup - curd/yogurt
  • salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp - chopped mint leaves
  • 2 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - spice powder or garam masala powder
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 onions, chopped finely
  • 1 tsp - Cumins powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil

How to Make Spicy Masala Meat Curry

  • Marinate the beef / mutton with all the above ingredients except the oil and keep aside for about 2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a suitable pan and add the marinated meat.
  • Cook on high heat for about 5 mins mixing occasionally so that the meat does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  • Add 1 cup of water and mix well.
  • Simmer covered on low heat till the meat is tender and the gravy is thick.
  • Serve with chapattis, bread or rice.
