Ingredients

  • 1 kg - mince meat either beef or mutton
  • 2 big onions chopped
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chopped mint
  • 4 tbsp - bread crumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup - water
  • 2 chicken soup cubes
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder

How to Make Spicy Mince Loaf

  • Wash the mince and drain off the water.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil and the mince, onions, ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, soup cubes, a little salt and simmer on low heat till the mince is cooked and the water dries up.
  • Mix the cooked mince with half the breadcrumbs, pepper, chilli powder, chopped mint and a little more salt if required.
  • Bind stiffly with the beaten egg.
  • Butter an oblong loaf tin or dish and coat it with the remaining breadcrumbs.
  • Pack in the cooked mince mixture tightly and cover with aluminium foil.
  • Bake in a moderate oven (355 degrees ) for 40 -50 minutes.
  • When cold, turn out on to a serving plate.
  • Serve with bread and a green salad.
