Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - onion, sliced
  • 1 cup - tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup - carrot, cubed
  • 1 cup - Green peas
  • 1/2 cup - beans, cut 2 cms long
  • 4 cms long - Ginger
  • 3 - Cloves
  • 2 pieces - Cinnamon
  • 2 - black Cardamoms
  • 1 whole Garlic
  • 2 tsp - Kashmir chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - pepper Corns
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Spicy Mixed Vegetable Curry:

    1. Grind chilli powder, pepper corns, fennel seeds and turmeric powder together to make a smooth paste.
    2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onion and fry till golden brown.
    3. Add the ground masala and fry well.
    4. Add tomatoes and fry till oil separates at the sides.
    5. Add the vegetables and salt along with 1.5 cups of water.
    6. Close and pressure cook for 5 mins.
    7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
