  • 1 kg - Mutton (boneless or with bone)
  • 1 - large Onion, sliced
  • 1 - large Tomato, sliced
  • 1.5 tbsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsps - pepper powder
  • 2 tbsps - coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup - Curd
  • 1 tbsp - Meat Masala Powder
  • How to Make Spicy Mutton Gravy:

    1. Cut the mutton pieces into cubes and wash.
    2. Marinate the mutton pieces with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, coriander powder and salt. Keep them aside for 1 hour.
    3. Then pressure cook the mutton pieces till tender.
    4. In a pan, heat oil. Now add cinnamon sticks and cloves to the oil.
    5. Put in the sliced onions and fry till golden brown.
    6. Finally, add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for about a minute.
    7. Now add the tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes are soft. Put in the meat masala powder and fry for 2 mins.
    8. Now is the time to put in the mutton pieces and fry them.
    9. Pour some water and mix it with the mutton. Close the lid and let it simmer for 10 mins.
    10. Add the curd and mix it. Let it boil and then turn off the flame.
    11. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice, chapatti or bread.
