Ingredients

  • Mutton - 500 g
  • Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies - 8
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Jeera - 1 tsp
  • Kus kus - 1 tsp
  • Roasted gram - 2 tsp
  • Onion - 2 medium
  • Garlic - 8 pods
  • Tomato - 2 medium
  • Cloves - 2
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 small piece
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Bay Leaf - 1 small
  • Cashews - 10
  • Oil - 4 tbsps
  • Salt to taste
  • For Seasoning :
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp.
  • How to Make Spicy Mutton Kurma:

    1. Clean and cut the mutton into medium pieces.
    2. Grind the coconut, green chilly, roasted gram, fennel seeds, jeera, khus khus, cashews, garlic into a smooth paste.
    3. Heat oil in a pan. Add the mutton to it and saute for 5 mins.
    4. Then add the ground masala to it and saute until brown.
    5. Take a pressure cooker, add the chicken, salt and water. Now cook it on high for 5-10 mins.
    6. Let it cool.
    7. Serve hot with rotis, parathas, or boiled rice.
