Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup - pureed Spinach
  • 500 g - Paneer (cubed and lightly fried)
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped Ginger
  • 1 tsp - finely chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 cup - Onions (grated)
  • 1 cup - tomatoes, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 - Bay Leaf
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp - powdered red pepper
  • 1 tsp - powdered Coriander seeds
  • 1/4 cup - oil
  • 2 tsp - salt
  • How to Make Spicy Palak paneer:

    1. Heat oil and add cumin to it. When it splutters, add bay leaf, ginger and garlic, and saute till it is light brown in colour.
    2. Add onions and saute till they are golden brown in colour.
    3. Add tomatoes and stir fry it over medium heat.
    4. When the oil separates, add salt, garam masala and red pepper to it. Stir till they are well mixed.
    5. Add spinach and saute for 2-3 mins and add paneer to it.
    6. Mix well and serve hot.
