Ingredients

  • 1 kg - good fleshy fish, cut into thick slices
  • 1 tbsp - black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp - Lime juice
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 8 Curry leaves
  • How to Make Spicy Pan Fried pepper Fish:

    1. Marinate the fish slices with the pepper powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, garlic paste, lime juice and curry leaves for about half an hour.
    2. Heat oil in a flat pan or griddle and shallow-fry the marinated fish till brown.
    3. The curry leaves will also shrivel up and give the fish a nice flavour.
    4. Serve with rice or bread.
