Ingredients

  • 1 kg - good fleshy fish, cut into thick slices
  • 1 tbsp - black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp - lime juice
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 8 curry leaves

How to Make Spicy Pan Fried pepper Fish

  • Marinate the fish slices with the pepper powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, garlic paste, lime juice and curry leaves for about half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a flat pan or griddle and shallow-fry the marinated fish till brown.
  • The curry leaves will also shrivel up and give the fish a nice flavour.
  • Serve with rice or bread.
