Ingredients

  • Potatoes medium sized - 2, boiled and grated.
  • Jeera - 1 pinch.
  • oil - 1/2 tsp.
  • green chilli - 1 small.
  • Asafoetida (hing) - 1 pinch.
  • Curry leaves (kadipatta) - a few.
  • Yoghurt - 4 tbsp.
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt - to taste.

How to Make Spicy Potato Raita

  • Mix the potatoes with yogurt, sugar and salt.
  • In a kadai heat oil. Fry jeera, till it turns brown.
  • Add green chilli, curry leaves and asafoetida.
  • Add the tadka, to the potatoes.
  • Serve chilled with parathas or rice.
