Ingredients

  • Potatoes medium sized - 2, boiled and grated.
  • Jeera - 1 pinch.
  • oil - 1/2 tsp.
  • Green chilli - 1 small.
  • Asafoetida (hing) - 1 pinch.
  • Curry leaves (kadipatta) - a few.
  • Yoghurt - 4 tbsp.
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • How to Make Spicy Potato Raita:

    1. Mix the potatoes with yogurt, sugar and salt.
    2. In a kadai heat oil. Fry jeera, till it turns brown.
    3. Add green chilli, curry leaves and asafoetida.
    4. Add the tadka, to the potatoes.
    5. Serve chilled with parathas or rice.
