  • Pudina leaves - 1 cup.
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup.
  • green chillies - 5.
  • Tamarind - quarter size of a lemon.
  • Bengal gram - 1 tsp.
  • Black gram - 1 tsp.
  • Cooking oil - 2 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.

How to Make Spicy Pudina chutney

  • Wash pudina leaves and drain the water.
  • In a kadai, add half tsp of oil and fry the pudina until it shrinks.
  • Fry Bengal gram, black gram and green chillies in 1 tsp of oil and finally fry tamarind.
  • Cool all the fried ingredients, add salt, grated coconut and grind it into a paste.
  • Heat half a tsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
  • When mustard splutters, remove it from fire and add it to the chutney.
