  • Pudina leaves - 1 cup.
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup.
  • Green chillies - 5.
  • Tamarind - quarter size of a lemon.
  • Bengal Gram - 1 tsp.
  • Black gram - 1 tsp.
  • Cooking oil - 2 tsp.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp.
  • How to Make Spicy Pudina chutney:

    1. Wash pudina leaves and drain the water.
    2. In a kadai, add half tsp of oil and fry the pudina until it shrinks.
    3. Fry Bengal gram, black gram and green chillies in 1 tsp of oil and finally fry tamarind.
    4. Cool all the fried ingredients, add salt, grated coconut and grind it into a paste.
    5. Heat half a tsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
    6. When mustard splutters, remove it from fire and add it to the chutney.
