Ingredients

  • Cooked Pasta - 1.5 box
  • Big onions, finely chopped - 2
  • Tomatoes, finely chopped - 6
  • Garlic cloves, finely chopped - 15
  • Tomato puree - 1 can
  • Heavy whipped Cream - 1.5 cup
  • Parsley, finely chopped - 2 tbsp
  • Basil, finely chopped
  • Crushed red peppers - 4 tbsp
  • Shrimps/Chicken/Beef (for Non Veg option) - 2 cups
  • Broccoli - 1 cup (for Veg Option)
  • Asparagus - 1 cup (for Veg Option)
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Olive oil

How to Make Spicy Shahi Pasta

  • To prepare Shahi Sauce:
  • Heat Olive oil in kadai.
  • Add crushed red peppers and 10 crushed garlic cloves till you get garlic aroma.
  • Put the onions and cook till the onions are translucent and then add tomato puree.
  • After the mix is well cooked. Add chopped tomatoes. Let these tomatoes maintain its size and texture.
  • Add salt, parsley and basil.
  • Add heavy whipped cream and bring it to boil.
  • The sauce is now ready. Remove this and keep it aside till we are about to bring the entire dish together.
  • To cook Shrimp/Chicken/Beef or Vegetables:
  • Heat a little olive oil in kadai.
  • Add crushed red peppers and crushed garlic cloves, as per your desired flavor of it being garlicy, till you get garlic aroma.
  • Now add shrimps/chicken/beef (for non-veg) or broccoli and asparagus (for veg).
  • Let it cook for a while so that they maintain their texture and form but are about 85% cooked.
  • Creating Shahi Pasta:
  • Heat olive oil in kadai,
  • Add crushed red peppers as per your taste.
  • Add cooked pasta and toss it in the mix for about couple of seconds.
  • Now add shrimps/chicken/beef/Veg mix and toss well.
  • Add the shahi sauce. Toss and cook.
  • Serve it on a Serving dish.
  • Garnish it with fresh parsley, chopped basil and crushed red peppers.
