Ingredients

  • 250 gms- shrimp
  • 1 - medium size Onion
  • 1 - small Tomato
  • 1 tsp - Tomato paste or Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • For Spices:
  • 1 tsp - ground pepper
  • 1 tsp - ground Cuminutes
  • 2 to 4 Cloves - crushed Garlic
  • Turmeric as required
  • red pepper powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Spicy Shrimp:

    1. Marinate shrimp in all the spices and some oil for 1/2 to 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion in it. Then add the marinated shrimp to it, stir fry.
    2. Add finely chopped tomato and coriander to it. Add tomato paste and saute.
    3. Cover and simmer on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
    4. Add 1/2 cup of water.
    5. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally (frozen shrimp takes about 20-25 minutes to be done soft).
