Ingredients

  • 250 gms- shrimp
  • 1 - medium size onion
  • 1 - small tomato
  • 1 tsp - tomato paste or tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • coriander leaves as required
  • For Spices:
  • 1 tsp - ground pepper
  • 1 tsp - ground Cuminutes
  • 2 to 4 cloves - crushed garlic
  • turmeric as required
  • red pepper powder to taste
  • salt to taste

How to Make Spicy Shrimp

  • Marinate shrimp in all the spices and some oil for 1/2 to 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion in it. Then add the marinated shrimp to it, stir fry.
  • Add finely chopped tomato and coriander to it. Add tomato paste and saute.
  • Cover and simmer on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water.
  • Cover and cook, stirring occasionally (frozen shrimp takes about 20-25 minutes to be done soft).
