Ingredients

  • 2 cups - shrimp
  • 2 cups - basmati Rice
  • 1 - large Onion
  • 1 tbsp - Butter or oil
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Cuminutes powder
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • salt
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp - soya sauce
  • How to Make Spicy Shrimp rice:

    1. In a bowl, mix the cleaned shrimp, ginger paste, red chilli powder, Cuminutes powder, garam masala, and the turmeric powder. Set it aside for some time.
    2. In a large vessel melt butter.
    3. Fry onions till slightly golden brown, then add garlic paste and fry for some time.
    4. Add oyster sauce, soya sauce, the marinated shrimp and salt to taste.
    5. Cook the shrimp till it is half done.
    6. If necessary, add some water.
    7. Clean the rice, add to shrimp with enough water to cook the rice and coriander. Cook till the rice is done.
