Ingredients

  • 1 cup - firm Tofu grated or Tofu crumbles
  • 1 cup - chopped Onions
  • 1 cup - chopped red cabbage, peas, Cauliflower or Carrots
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • 1/2tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 1 -2 tsp - curry powder or any curry paste or Garam Masala powder or hot pepper powder
  • 2 tsp - Tomato paste
  • 1 cup - chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Cilantro (coriander leaves)
  • 2 tsp - sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • How to Make Spicy Tofu:

    1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
    2. Add 1/2 tsp of fennel seeds.
    3. Add onions, saute until tender.
    4. Add cabbage and tomatoes and stir.
    5. Add tofu and mix well.
    6. Add salt, curry powder, any curry paste or garam masala powder.
    7. Add tomato paste. Mix.
    8. Cover and cook till done .
    9. Add cilantro at the end. One can eat this with cooked white rice, naan, chapatti or as sandwich.
