Ingredients

  • 2 pomfrets, boned, filleted
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - flour
  • 3 cups Tomato puree
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup - spring onion, minced
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup - Tomato ketchup -
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 green chilli, minced
  • Oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to Make Spicy tomato fish

  • Apply lemon juice, salt and flour to the fish.
  • Fry in 1 cup - hot oil.
  • Drain. Reserve.
  • In the same oil, add spring onion, ginger and garlic. Brown.
  • Add tomato puree, ketchup and chilli powder.
  • Cook till oil separates.
  • Add salt and fish pieces.
  • Heat and garnish with green chilli pieces.
  • Serve with bread.
