Ingredients

  • 2 pomfrets, boned, filleted
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - flour
  • 3 cups Tomato puree
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup - spring onion, minced
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup - Tomato ketchup -
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 green chilli, minced
  • Oil for frying
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Spicy tomato fish:

    1. Apply lemon juice, salt and flour to the fish.
    2. Fry in 1 cup - hot oil.
    3. Drain. Reserve.
    4. In the same oil, add spring onion, ginger and garlic. Brown.
    5. Add tomato puree, ketchup and chilli powder.
    6. Cook till oil separates.
    7. Add salt and fish pieces.
    8. Heat and garnish with green chilli pieces.
    9. Serve with bread.
