Ingredients

  • 1/2 packet frozen puff pastry (1 sheet)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Green onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 packet frozen spinach, thawed and well drained

How to Make Spinach-Cheese Swirls

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Thaw pastry sheet at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Mix egg and water and set aside.
  • Mix Monterey Jack cheese, Parmesan cheese, onion and garlic powder.
  • Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface.
  • Brush with egg mixture.
  • Top with cheese mixture and spinach.
  • Starting at one side, roll up like a jelly roll.
  • Cut into 20 half slices and place 2 inch apart on baking sheet.
  • Brush tops with egg mixture.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
