Ingredients

  • 1/2 packet - frozen spinach
  • 6 - big garlic pods
  • 1/2 inch - ginger
  • 4 tbsp - tomato puree
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala
  • 1 pinch - asafoetida
  • 1 pinch - cumin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp - of oil

How to Make Spinach Curry

  • Finely chop the spinach.
  • Grate garlic and ginger.
  • Heat oil, add asafoetida and then the cumin seeds.
  • When it splutters, put the grated garlic-ginger in the oil together.
  • When light brown put the tomato puree.
  • Let fry. Now put the cumin powder, chilli powder add, the chopped spinach. Fry at high heat.
  • When the water from the spinach dries up and the spinach becomes soft, put the salt and garam masala.
  • Serve.
