Ingredients

  • 1 cup - tur dal
  • 1 cup - finely chopped Palak
  • 1 cup - coconut, grated
  • 1/2 cup - finely chopped Onion
  • 1/2 cup - finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • 3 - Green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - Hing
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Spinach Dal Chaat:

    1. Soak tuvar dal overnight. Drain the water and grind it coarsely along with green chilli in a mixer.
    2. Mix all the other ingredients along with the dal.
    3. Make oval shaped balls with your palm.
    4. Smear 1-tsp oil on idli plates.
    5. Steam the balls in idli stand for 12 minutes.
    6. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
