  • 1 bottle - any pasta sauce of your liking
  • 1 packet - fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 can - Ricotta cheese
  • 1 can - Parmesan cheese
  • 1 packet - shredded cheese of any kind

  • Spices to taste

How to Make Spinach Lasagne

  • Boil about 10 strips of lasagne in some water with some salt. Drain the water and let the strips cool.
  • Heat the pasta sauce in a pan
  • You can add salt and spices to the sauce as desired.
  • Put approximately 5 tbsps of Ricotta cheese in a bowl.
  • Mix the Parmesan cheese with the Ricotta cheese.
  • There's no exact measure of how much parmesan cheese you should use.
  • Take a deep dish casserole that is oven safe and pour a little sauce into it.
  • Next add a few strips of lasagne (layer the base completely).
  • Next cover the lasagne strips with the spinach leaves.
  • Then spread the ricotta and parmesan cheese mixture over the spinach.
  • Next pour some sauce over the cheese.
  • And finally sprinkle the shredded cheese over the sauce.
  • Repeat for the desired number of layers (usually 3 layers).
  • The final top layer should be sauce and a heavy covering of the shredded cheese.
  • Cover the casserole dish with foil and poke some holes into the top with a fork.
  • Bake for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  • Serve hot with garlic bread.
