How to Make Spinach Milagootal

  • Pressure cook tuvar dal.
  • Clean spinach thoroughly and cook it in a vessel by adding some water (very little water is enough to cook spinach) along with salt and turmeric powder.
  • Grind the spinach in a blender and keep aside.
  • Grind grated coconut, red chillies, cumin seeds and add them to the spinach.
  • Add the cooked tuvar dal to these and cook for about 7 minutes.
  • Season with coconut oil, mustard seeds and urud dal.
