  • 1 packet Lemon gelatine
  • 1 bunch spinach, washed and stemmed
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 2 tbsp chopped Spring onion
  • 4 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • How to Make Spinach Salad with eggs:

    1. Dissolve gelatine and salt in boiling water.
    2. Add cold water and vinegar.
    3. Mix it well.
    4. Pour in a glass bowl.
    5. Chill till set.
    6. Chop spinach.
    7. Cook till tender in water.
    8. Drain in colander and pour ice cold water over it, to retain the colour.
    9. Drain and cool.
    10. Add spinach, onion, spring onion and mustard in the set gelatine.
    11. Mix it.
    12. Pour it over salad dish.
    13. Garnish with mayonnaise, cheese and boiled eggs.
    14. Serve chilled.
