Ingredients

  • 1 packet Lemon gelatine
  • 1 bunch spinach, washed and stemmed
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 2 tbsp chopped Spring onion
  • 4 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

How to Make Spinach Salad with eggs

  • Dissolve gelatine and salt in boiling water.
  • Add cold water and vinegar.
  • Mix it well.
  • Pour in a glass bowl.
  • Chill till set.
  • Chop spinach.
  • Cook till tender in water.
  • Drain in colander and pour ice cold water over it, to retain the colour.
  • Drain and cool.
  • Add spinach, onion, spring onion and mustard in the set gelatine.
  • Mix it.
  • Pour it over salad dish.
  • Garnish with mayonnaise, cheese and boiled eggs.
  • Serve chilled.
