Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Spinach
  • 1/2 - large Onion
  • 2 - large Garlic buds finely cut
  • 1/2 tbsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1/4 tbsp - crushed pepper
  • 1/4 tbsp - Ginger
  • salt to taste
  • Olive oil
  • How to Make Spinach Soup:

    1. Boil spinach fully covered in water on medium flame for 10 to 12 mins. Add a little salt while boiling.
    2. Simultaneously, in a pan, fry onions in 2 tbsps of oil till it turns light brown.
    3. Add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and chillies and fry for about 5 mins.
    4. Add vinegar to the above.
    5. Drain the spinach and blend it with the above mixture into a smooth pulp in a mixie.
    6. Heat the pulp, add milk, pepper and bring it to boil.
    7. Serve hot.
