  • To Grind:
  • 2 cups - Sprouted moong dal
  • 10 - Shallots diced
  • 1 inch Ginger, chopped
  • 5 - Garlic pods
  • 3 - Green chillies chopped
  • Salt
  • 1 cup - Gram flour
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • 2 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 3 stalks - Coriander chopped
  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • How to Make Sprouted Moong dal Pakodas:

    1. Grind coarsely the ingredients from the 'To Grind' list.
    2. Put the coarsely ground ingredients into a large bowl and add the gram flour, rice flour, corn flour and chopped coriander. Mix everything well.
    3. Heat oil for Deep frying.
    4. Take a small amount from the batter and drop little by little gently into the hot oil.
    5. Fry the pakodas until it browns.
    6. Serve them as snacks or with rice.
