Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Sprouted moth beans (cooked)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Grated Ginger
  • 3 - Garlic Cloves (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida powder
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • How to Make Sprouted Moth Beans Masala Sundal:

    1. Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds and urad dal.
    2. Add the asafoetida powder and fennel seed powder and fry for a few seconds.
    3. Add the chopped onions, grated ginger, curry leaves, crushed garlic and chopped green chillies.
    4. Fry until the onions turn translucent.
    5. Add the cooked moth beans and cook for few minutes.
    6. Add the garam masala powder and simmer for few minutes on low flame.
    7. Remove from stove and serve hot
    8. You can have it as a snack or as side dish.
