Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Sprouted moth beans (cooked)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Grated ginger
  • 3 - Garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida powder
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad dal

How to Make Sprouted Moth Beans Masala Sundal

  • Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds and urad dal.
  • Add the asafoetida powder and fennel seed powder and fry for a few seconds.
  • Add the chopped onions, grated ginger, curry leaves, crushed garlic and chopped green chillies.
  • Fry until the onions turn translucent.
  • Add the cooked moth beans and cook for few minutes.
  • Add the garam masala powder and simmer for few minutes on low flame.
  • Remove from stove and serve hot
  • You can have it as a snack or as side dish.
