Ingredients

  • 3 cups - Sprouted yellow peas
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 2 - Dry Red Chillies
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida powder
  • 2 tbsp - Grated Coconut
  • 3 - Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Sprouted Yellow Peas Sundal:

    1. Cook the sprouted yellow peas with salt in a kadai or pressure cook up to one whistle.
    2. Drain the excess water and keep aside.
    3. Heat a tablespoon of oil and add the mustard seeds, urad dal, dry red chillies, asafoetida powder and curry leaves.
    4. Let it turn brown.
    5. Add the cooked sprouted yellow peas to the pan and saute for a few minutes.
    6. Add the grated coconut stir for a minute and switch off the stove.
    7. Serve warm as snacks.
