Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - sprouted moong
  • 1 tsp - jaggery
  • 1 - roti
  • 1/2 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - hot ghee
  • pinch of jeera
  • pinch of turmeric powder
  • pinch of red chilli powder
  • pinch of jeera powder
  • pinch of hing (asafoetida).
  • salt to taste
  • water as needed

How to Make Sprouts Churma

  • Heat oil in a pan, add jeera. When it splutters, add hing, sprouted beans, the masala powders, and salt.
  • Saute for a few minutes.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp water. Cover with a lid and cook till soft (do not over cook).
  • Grind the roti, cooked sprouts and jaggery.
  • Add hot ghee and serve (with dal).
