Ingredients

  • 1 packet -canapes of desired shape
  • 1 cup- Bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup -finely chopped Onion
  • 1/2 cup -finely chopped Tomato
  • 1/4 cup- finely chopped coriander
  • 1/4 cup- finely chopped boiled Potato
  • 1/2- Lemon
  • salt
  • freshly ground Cumin seed powder
  • 4-5 -green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 cup- fine Bikaner sev (optional)
  • 1/2 cup- Tamarind chutney
  • 1/2 cup -green chutney
  • oil to deep fry

How to Make Sprouts-Stuffed Canapes

  • If using readymade canapes, they can be baked in a warm pre-heated oven till light-brown and crisp.
  • Or deep fry them till light brown. Drain on kitchen towel. Do it for all the canapes and keep them aside.
  • Mix the sprouts, onion, tomato, potatoes, half the coriander, lemon, salt and green chilli together. Chill it for some time.
  • Before serving fill mixture in the canapes, put a dash of both chutneys on top. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and cumin powder
  • Garnish with sev and remaining coriander. Serve right away.
