Ingredients

  • 500 g - fresh water fish, cut into thin slices
  • Banana leaves
  • 25 g - Mustard Seeds
  • 6 - Green chillies
  • 1/4 - Coconut
  • salt and chilli powder to taste
  • 1 tbsps - Turmeric powder
  • How to Make Steamed Mustard Fish with Coconut:

    1. Grind coconut, mustard and chillies to a paste.
    2. Mix with all the spices and oil and rub on the fish slices nicely.
    3. Wrap each slice of fish nicely in banana leaf and steam for 10 mins on one side, then turn over and steam for another 10 mins.
