Ingredients

  • 1 large - Pomfret
  • To pound:
  • 1 - Lemon grass
  • 4 - kaffir Lime leaves
  • 2 pieces - Garlic
  • 1 - Ginger
  • 4 tbsp - black soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp - light soya sauce
  • few drops - sesame oil
  • 1.5 tsp - Sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 1.5 tsp - Corn flour
  • 1/2 cup - water

How to Make Steamed pomfret in sauce

  • Mix the pounded ingredients with the sauces. Pour it on top of the fish.
  • Steam for 20-25 mins (depends on the size of the fish).
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and sliced red chillies.
