Ingredients

  • 250 g -prawns (shelled and de-veined)
  • 4-5 tbsp - mustard paste
  • 2-3 tbsp - Mustard oil
  • 6-8 - green chillies(whole)
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp - fresh coriander (finely chopped)

How to Make Steamed Prawn With Mustard

  • Wash the prawns and keep in a bowl.
  • Mix the mustard paste, turmeric powder, salt and green chillies with the prawns.
  • Top this mixture of prawns with mustard oil.
  • Pressure cook it on high flame till the first whistle.
  • Then lower the flame and cook for another 6-7 mins. Remove immediately.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with plain rice.
