  • 1 cup - Rice
  • 2 cups - water
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • salt

How to Make Steamed Rice

  • Wash and soak the rice in 2 cups water for at least 30 mins.
  • Put the rice, water, salt and ghee into the microwave uncovered at 100% power for 8 mins or till there are steamy holes over the surface.
  • Cover and continue to cook at 70% power for 3 mins.
  • Let it stand for 5 mins before serving.
