Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Sooji
  • 1/2 cup - Curd
  • 1 and 1/2 cup - Water
  • 1 tsp - Eno Fruit Salt
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • 2 - Green Chillies, finely chopped (optional)
  • Red Chillies, Hing and Kadi patta - For Tadka
  • Coriander leaves
  • Grated Coconut
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Steaming Sooji Dhokla

  • Mix sooji, curd, water and salt in a container and make it into a batter. Leave the batter for 1/2 an hour.
  • Add Eno, salt and green chillies to the batter.
  • Pour it in a greased dish and steam it for 10-12 minutes.
  • Take it out in a separate dish and cut it into pieces.
  • Prepare tadka of mustard seeds, red chillies, hing and kadi patta.
  • Pour tadka on it, garnish the dhokla with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
  • Serve with a spicy chutney.
