How to Make Stewed Pears

  • Peel the pears, remove the seeds, core and cut each into 4 pieces.
  • Heat 2 cups of water in a pan, add the sugar, cardamoms and cinnamon.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cut pears and simmer till the pears are soft.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • Serve with fresh cream or custard.
