Ingredients

  • 500 g - French beans, chopped, boiled
  • 1 stalk - curry leaves
  • 1/2 - tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 - capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - coriander seed powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 or 3 pinches - asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • salt

How to Make Stir Fried French Bean Sabzi

  • Heat oil in a pan, add seeds and asafoetida and allow to splutter.
  • Add curry leaves, tomato, capsicum, stir-fry for a minute.
  • Add all dry masala powders and 2 tsp. water and stir.
  • Add French beans, stir-fry for 2-3 mins, till well blended.
  • Sprinkle salt, wheat flour, coriander leaves and mix.
  • Take off from the fire.
  • Serve hot with phulkas or chapatti or puris.
