Ingredients

  • 3 onions, chopped
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger, Garlic paste
  • 1 spring - Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - mustard
  • 1/4 tsp - cumin
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/8 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1.5 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • To Make Steamed Frittata
  • 5 - eggs
  • 1/4 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1.5 tbsp - plain flour
  • How to Make Stir fried steamed frittata:

    1. Beat the eggs in a bowl, add salt, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, pepper and whisk till frothy
    2. Add the flour and mix well to remove lumps
    3. Grease a bowl and pour this mixture in that and steam for exactly 10 mins in a pressure cooker without whistle. Do not over steam as it makes the egg hard.
    4. After the frittata is ready, let it cool. Cut into small cubes and set aside
    5. Heat a pan with oil, add curry leaves, mustard, cumin and green chillies, when they splutter add onions, salt and fry till they turn translucent.
    6. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.
    7. Add the cubed frittata pieces, chilli powder and fry for another 1 min.
    8. Add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and saute for a min
    9. Serve.
