Ingredients

  • 1 kg - vanilla ice-cream
  • 250 g- strawberries
  • 1 tsp- gelatine

How to Make Strawberry Delight

  • Clean and halve the strawberries. Keep 3-4 whole ones for decoration.
  • Slice these into fan shapes.
  • Beat ice-cream in a bowl, placed over a bigger bowl filled with ice water, till soft and creamy.
  • This is to prevent ice-cream for becoming liquefied.
  • Add gelatine solution, mix well.
  • Use a decorative jelly mould.
  • Pour mixture into moist mould.
  • Sprinkle half the cut strawberries here and there on to the mixture.
  • Put in freezer to set well.
  • Just before serving:
  • Unmold onto a wide dish.
  • Arrange the remaining halved strawberries along the rim of the ice-cream.
  • Decorate top with the sliced strawberries.
  • Serve instantly.
