How to Make Stuffed (Aloo Gobi) Paratha

  • Before preparation: Sieve wheat flour with salt. Add water to it, mix it very well and make a smooth dough.
  • For aloo paratha:
  • Boil potatoes in a microwave or in a pressure cooker.
  • Mash boiled potatoes with a potato masher.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, amchur powder, chopped coriander leaves.
  • For gobi paratha:
  • Shred cauliflower and put in a pressure cooker till you hear a whistle.
  • Add shredded ginger, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur powder, green chillies and coriander leaves.
  • Method:
  • Make small rolls of dough.
  • Roll it like chapatti, put some mashed potato mixture in it and fold it towards the centre till the edges meet.
  • Seal the edges by pressing the chapatti.
  • Now again roll it like a chapatti (around 8 inches in diameter).
  • Repeat the process with gobi also.
  • Pre-heat tawa on a high flame.
  • Apply some oil on the tava and put aloo/gobi paratha.
  • Cook it on both the sides with oil at medium-high flame.
  • Repeat step 2-3 to make more parathas.
  • Before serving put some butter on it.
  • Serve it hot with green chutney and tea.
