  • 1 kg - Brinjals (preferably round ones)
  • 2 - large Onions
  • Dry Red Chillies 4 or 5 or (according to your taste)
  • 200 ml - oil
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • How to Make Stuffed Baingan:

    1. Wash and wipe the brinjals. Make 6 or 8 slits in each one with the stem intact.
    2. Chop and grind onions to a paste with some salt and the red chillies.
    3. Stuff the brinjals with the paste.
    4. Heat oil in a deep pan, add stuffed brinjals and close it with a lid.
    5. After the brinjals become tender, add butter. Let the brinjals fry till oil come out.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    7. This dish tastes best with dal and hot rice.
