Ingredients

  • 8 or 10 - Jalapeno peppers
  • 1 - Onion, large
  • 3 cloves - Garlic
  • For batter:
  • 1 cup - Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 pinches - Soda bicarbonate
  • 1 tbsp - Hot oil
  • salt to taste
  • Water

How to Make Stuffed Jalapeno

  • Mix all the ingredients for the batter to form a thick mix, enough to coat the back of a spoon. Keep aside.
  • Dice the onion and garlic into very fine pieces.
  • Saute onion and garlic in a little olive oil.
  • Wash the Jalapeno peppers and slice them in the middle, lengthwise, so as to create a pocket.
  • Fill the inside with sauteed onion and garlic.
  • Dip the whole pepper in the batter and deep fry.
