  • 4 - Potatoes
  • 250 g - Green peas
  • 4 - Tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • Mustard Seeds -1/2 tsp
  • 6 Curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp -garlic paste
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - hot spicy powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • How to Make Stuffed Potato (Tiranga):

    1. Peel the potatoes, cut the potatoes into halves and carve them into bowls.
    2. Keep these potato bowls submerged in water and freeze it for 2 hours.
    3. Cut each tomato in four and cook in microwave for 6-7 mins till it becomes soft and grind it in a mixer.
    4. Heat oil in pan, add cumin, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
    5. Add 1/2 garlic and ginger paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, hot spicy powder, tomato puree and salt. Bring it to boil.
    6. Heat little oil in pan, add mustard seeds. When it splutters add cumin seeds, curry leaves, remaining garlic-ginger paste, peas, salt and fry it.
    7. Dry potato bowls with paper napkin. Grease them with oil. Cook in microwave for 10 mins till it is cooked well.
    8. Stuff these potato bowls with peas.
    9. Pour hot puree in serving bowl and put these stuffed potatoes in it.
