Ingredients

  • Potatoes, medium sized, half -boiled - 6 - 8
  • Green chillies, finely chopped - 4
  • Onion, finely chopped - 2
  • Tomatoes, finely chopped - 2
  • Coriander, finely chopped - 1 cup
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Shredded cheese (optional)
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Stuffed Potatoes

  • Cut each potato into 2 and scoop out the inner portion.
  • Now, heat in a pan and shallow fry the potatoes until they are golden brown.
  • For the stuffing:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion and chillies to it. Saute until the onions turn pink. Then add the turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, garam masala and saute for 5 mins.
  • Add salt and stuff the mixture into the potatoes.
  • Place these stuffed potatoes in a pressure cooker and cook until 2-3 whistles.
  • Garnish with coriander and shredded cheese.
