  • Raw banana Podimas:
  • 2 cups - Raw banana chunks (cooked & smashed)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped finely)
  • 1 tsp - Ginger (chopped finely)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard Seeds and Urad Dal
  • 1/2 tsp - Channa dal
  • 1 - Dry Red Chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • How to Make Stuffed Raw Banana Podimas Bread Toast:

    1. Heat enough oil and splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal and dry red chillies.
    2. Add chopped onions, chopped green chillies, chopped ginger and saute everything well until the onions turns translucent.
    3. Add turmeric powder, smashed raw banana pieces, salt and curry leaves, sprinkle some water and simmer for few minutes, until the vegetables are well cooked.
    4. Spread the raw banana podimas over a slice of bread, cover with another.
    5. Meanwhile make a thick paste with all-purpose flour and water.
    6. Brush this thick paste over the podimas stuffed bread slices, sprinkle rolled oats.
    7. Press to get a good coating of the oats.
    8. Toast on both sides.
