  • 2 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup - granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 cup - vegetable oil
  • 1 large - egg
  • 1 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp - Salt
  • Nutella - as per taste
  • Colourful sprinkles

How to Make Sugar Cookies with Nutella

  • In a mixing bowl, add oil and sugar and mix well together for about 5 mins.
  • Add egg and mix well with a hand mixer for 3 - 4 mins.
  • Now add vanilla essence to the mixture and stir again.
  • In another bowl sieve the flour, baking powder and salt together.
  • Now add this dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir and knead to form a smooth dough.
  • The dough will be little sticky, so keep it covered in a refrigerator for about 30 mins.
  • For baking cookies, preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Make small lemon size balls of the dough and flatten slightly, sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for about 15 mins until they are golden brown around the edges.
  • Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Serve as it is or spread nutella over it, top them with colour sprinkles and serve
