  • 125 g - whole blanched Almonds
  • 125 g - Pecan nuts
  • 1 - egg, white removed
  • 1/3 cup - water
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 60 g - Butter

How to Make Sugared Spicy Nuts

  • Place nuts on flat tray.
  • Bake in moderate heat until lightly roasted.
  • Place on a lamington tin.
  • Beat egg white until soft peaks form. Gradually, beat in sugar and cinnamon powder.
  • Stir in cool melted butter.
  • Pour this mixture over nuts, mix well.
  • Bake in moderately low heat for about 30 minutes, stopping every 10 minutes to stir.
  • Cool and store in airtight container.
