Ingredients

  • 1/2kg - prawns, shelled, deveined, cleaned and washed
  • 1/2 kg - okra, washed and diced
  • 3/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 2 sprigs - Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp - Coconut oil for tempering
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - masala

How to Make Sungtam Ani Bhendam Chi Kadi

  • Heat oil.
  • Add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.
  • Add curry leaves and fry. Then add the masala and fry for 3 mins.
  • Add sufficient water to make a gravy of pouring consistency.
  • Add cut okra and prawns simultaneously.
  • Allow the curry to boil and then cover the vessel and let the curry simmer over a medium flame for around 15-20 mins.
  • Serve hot with rava dosas or rice.
