  • 500 gms - Suran
  • 25 gms - Roasted and pounded groundnuts
  • 1 tbsp - Roasted and pounded til
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • Handful of Coriander leaves
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 2 tbsps - Grated Coconut
  • Salt, sugar, Lime juice and chilli powder to taste
  • How to Make Suran Khichdi:

    1. Peel the suran and boil in water to which a little lime juice or vinegar has been added.
    2. Drain out the water and mash to a paste.
    3. Grind chillies, ginger and coriander leaves to a paste.
    4. Mix all the above ingredients together and serve decorated with coriander leaves.
