Ingredients

  • 1 - seer fish
  • 6 - chillies
  • 1 - Coconut
  • few - Coriander leaves
  • 6 flakes - Garlic
  • 2 tsp - Ghee for seasoning
  • 1 inch piece - Ginger
  • 4 - Onions
  • salt to taste
  • 1 - seer fish
  • 1 Lemon size - Tamarind
  • 2 - Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • little - Vinegar
  • How to Make Surmai Curry with Coconut:

    1. Cut, clean and wash the fish.
    2. Grind coriander leaves, garlic, ginger and tamarind to a fine paste.
    3. Chop chillies and slice the onions and tomatoes.
    4. Grind coconut, extract 1st and 2nd milk.
    5. Warm the ghee in a pot and fry sliced onions. Then add the 2nd coconut milk, ground masala and chopped ingredients.
    6. When onion turns soft, place the fish in the pan.
    7. After 5 mins, add the 1st coconut extract, salt and vinegar to taste.
    8. Boil for a little while and remove from fire.
