Ingredients

  • Peel the pineapple, cut into slices and grate
  • grated Pineapple - 2 cup
  • Ginger - 2 tbsp, minced
  • water - 1/2 cup
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Cloves 4, crushed
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • malt Vinegar - 1/2 cup

How to Make Sweet and Hot Pineapple Chutney

  • Combine pineapple with ginger and water. Simmer for 5 mins.
  • Add salt, sugar and chilli powder. Cook till the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add vinegar and cook till the chutney is thick (like a sticky paste).
  • Add cloves and cardamom.
  • Cool and store in a clean bottle in refrigerator.
