Ingredients

  • 800 gms - Chicken leg
  • 5 gms - Chicken powder
  • 150 gms - Sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 50 gms - Potato starch
  • 150 ml - White Vinegar
  • 45 ml - Tomato ketchup
  • 1 - White Onion
  • 20 gms - Seasonal fruits
  • 20 gms - Red pepper
  • 20 gms - Yellow pepper
  • 20 gms - Green pepper
  • 3 gms - Salt

How to Make Sweet and Sour Chicken

  • Heat a wok and add vinegar, sugar, tomato ketchup, sugar and potato starch for the sweet and sour sauce.
  • Dice red, green and yellow peppers, rock melons and white onions to bite sized portions.
  • Slice chicken leg and marinate with chicken powder and egg.
  • Deep fry the chicken until it turns golden brown.
  • Stir fry all ingredients including chopped peppers, onions and rock melon with the chicken.
  • Add sweet and sour sauce. Serve hot.
